Penarth Pier Pavilion hosts Demenstoria, July 21 - August 2. Presented by the Forget-me-Not Chorus, the exhibition documents and reflects on the experience of living with dementia through photography by Dan Green, with poetry by Louise Osborn, music by David George Harrington and spoken word recorded by actor Tom Cullen.

There will be a series of free concerts as part of the exhibition.

21st July 7pm, String Quartet. Join Emma Waller, Louise Broderick, Marilyn Shewring and Ali Robinson, members of the orchestra of Welsh National Opera for an evening concert.

23rd July 1pm, ‘Love and loss through divinity and nature’ A lunchtime concert with soprano Anna Moelwyn-Williams.

24th July 2.30pm, Open Forget-me-Not Chorus Session. Suitable for people with dementia and their families - taster for new people interested in joining the choir.

26th July 1pm, Musical Delights with David George Harrington. A lunchtime of light musical delights with Forget-me-Not Chorus Composer in Residence, David George Harrington.

28th July 1pm, ‘Mezzo piano’, A lunchtime concert with Forget-me-Not Chorus charity director and mezzo soprano Kate Woolveridge, with accompanist, Rhiannon Pritchard.

29th July 1pm, Enigma Duo. A lunchtime concert with Katherine Thomas (harp) and Laurence Kepton (violin), musicians from the Orchestra of Welsh Natonal Opera.

29th July 7pm, Sarah Pope, Mezzosoprano and George Newton Fitzgerald, Bass. An evening of song from two members of the WNO Chorus

30th July 10am, Exhibition Q&A. Q&A with charity directors, Kate Woolveridge and Sarah Teagle and photographer Dan Green.
