Exhibition at Butetown History and Art Centre

Renowned Welsh artist Emrys Williams was commissioned, as part of the 2011 Gwanwyn Festival to create a major oil painting to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Gwanwyn Festival. Since its completion in late 2011 the painting, together with paintings by the other shortlisted artists, Jan Gardner and Sarah Hope, has been touring Wales via a series of exhibitions in venues that have supported Gwanwyn Festival since its inception. It is finishing its tour at Butetown History and Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay before taking up residence in its new permanent home in the spring of 2013
