I Wish I Knew Then ... Workshops

(English) ‘I wish I knew then…’ an intergenerational project connecting children and the older generation through storytelling and performance within the community.

We all have had those ‘I wish I knew then’ moments and of course, the older generation with their long life experiences have tons of stories and knowledge to share with the younger generations.

At Abbey Dingle Care Home over May, children from the local community will be collecting and gathering stories from people living at Abbey Dingle Care Home to make an exciting performance called ‘I wish I knew then…’ where they will re-enact and tell the stories they discover from the people at Abbey Dingle Care Home and use it as a way to celebrate life and the stories that come along with it.

This project will come to a finale on the 23^rdof May at 3pm for a performance at Abbey Dingle Care Home, as part of the Gwanwyn 2015 arts project.  The performance is open to the local community and we will be serving food and drink.

Please come along to share a unique experience as old and young come together to create something wonderful together.
