Join us for a day of dance workshops, socialising and creativity. Within our studios we will hold a dance day as follows:
- 10:30 – 11:15 – Warm up and Conditioning Session (chair-based)
- 15 minute break (refreshments provided)
- 11:30 – 12:30 – Cha Cha Cha Workshop
- Lunch (provided)
- 1:30 – 2:30 – Musical Theatre Workshop
- 15 minute break (refreshments provided)
- 2:45 – 3:00 – Sharing
The workshops will be a reminder of how dance enables one to develop physically as well as a way of boosting social interaction. Our event will challenge preconceived ideas of ageing and older people and instead will highlight creativity and growth within older people.
