Join #CreativeNetwork – Local Arts Wales

Creative Lives hosts an online network to connect anyone working in, or with an interest in, local arts development in Wales.

The aims of the network are:

to offer opportunities to share and celebrate the work that takes place across Wales;
to link local arts development with national policy;
to provide opportunities for collaboration;
and to provide mutual support to local arts development.
The meetings are usually at 9:30am on Thursdays via Zoom.

31 March 2022 – Creativity and connection in older age
This event will showcase some recent artistic activity exploring representations of older age and look ahead to Gwanwyn in May. It will also introduce ‘Men Who Sing’, a documentary about a male voice choir from Flintshire who travel to Northern Ireland to compete after 20 years, and we’ll hear about the opportunity to organise community screenings of this wonderful film, which shows the many benefits of communal singing in older age.
